Marc Jacobs started his journey in 1981 from New York.  In New York, Marc attended the Parsons School of Design and it served him well.Marc was honoured with some of Parsons School of Designs greatest awards in his senior year.A fashion executive noticed his extraordinary talent and this changed Marc's life forever.They became partners and the partnership was based on few simple grounds.  They both had a commitment to quality and a love for fashion which is evident in all of Marc Jacobs by Marc Jacobs products. Marc had a fairy tale beginning to his career, and he came up with his own label two years after that.  When you see the Marc by Jacobs or Marc Jacobs label, you know you have found a very special item indeed.Marc came up with his first products, a line of men's clothing.  He talks about his creations as something from his past - something his babysitter wore, or something that he himself would be prone to wear.  Not soon after, (2000) Marc Jacobs launched his infamous handbag assortment.
A new line known as Marc by Marc Jacobs was introduced to the world by Marc and his partner, Robert Duffy.Retro and trendy pieces define Marc by Marc Jacobs collection.  This collection has expanded and now boasts of not only Marc Jacobs purses, but also jewelry, shoes, eyewear, watches and trendy hair accessories for any outfit on any occasion.
